Responsible Gambling
at 1winpk — Play Smart,
Stay in Control

Gambling should be an enjoyable leisure activity, nothing more. This page explains the tools, limits and support resources available to every 1winpk user across Pakistan.

Need Help Right Now?

If gambling is causing you serious harm — financial stress, relationship problems or mental health concerns — please seek professional help immediately. The Umang helpline (0317-4288665) offers free confidential mental health and crisis counselling in Pakistan. The Rozan Counselling Helpline also provides psychosocial support across Pakistan. Both are text-only references — please verify current availability before use. You can also use the self-exclusion tool in your 1winpk account to stop gambling access right now.

Why Responsible Gambling Matters at 1winpk

At 1winpk, we take responsible gambling seriously — not because we are required to, but because it is the right way to operate. Millions of people enjoy sports betting and online casino games as entertainment, the same way they might follow a Pakistan cricket match or watch PSL action. The vast majority of players set a budget, stick to it and have fun.

But gambling can become a problem for some people. It is important to recognise the difference between recreational play and gambling that is causing harm. 1winpk provides a full suite of responsible gambling tools built into every account — deposit limits, loss limits, session time controls and self-exclusion — because we believe these tools should be easy to find and use, not buried in settings menus.

This page is for every 1winpk user in Pakistan — whether you are in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar. The information here applies regardless of whether you play on desktop or mobile, and whether you enjoy sports betting, live casino or instant games. Responsible play has no exceptions.

Adults Only. The 1winpk Platform is strictly for adults aged 18 or above — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Being of legal age alone does not make gambling lawful under all applicable Pakistani law. Local laws, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, may restrict or prohibit participation. We do not claim to hold any approval from the Government of Pakistan, the PTA or any Pakistani provincial authority. Users are responsible for verifying applicable local law.

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

Every 1winpk account comes with these tools built in. Access them at any time through your account settings — no special request needed for limits.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit daily, weekly or monthly. Once set, a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a cooling-off period before it applies, to protect against impulse decisions.

Loss Limits

Cap the total amount you can lose over a set period — daily, weekly or monthly. When your loss limit is reached, you cannot place further wagers until the period resets, giving your budget a hard safety net.

Session Time Controls

Set a reminder or a hard limit on how long a single gaming session can run. When the limit is reached you receive a notification or are logged out automatically, preventing extended unplanned play.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable periodic on-screen reminders that display how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered or lost in the current session. A simple nudge to step back and reflect.

Self-Exclusion

Request a temporary break (from 24 hours up to several months) or a permanent self-exclusion. During exclusion, your account is locked, marketing is stopped and re-registration is blocked. Permanent exclusion cannot be reversed.

Support Access

Our support team can apply emergency limits or activate self-exclusion on your behalf at any time via Live Chat. You do not need to navigate settings yourself if you need help urgently — just contact us.

Using Your Safe Play Controls

Each responsible gambling tool in your 1winpk account is designed to be straightforward to activate. Here is a plain-English guide to how each one works and what to expect after you set it.

Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limits. Choose daily, weekly or monthly. Enter a PKR amount. The limit takes effect immediately.

  • Lowering a limit applies straight away.
  • Raising a limit has a mandatory cooling-off period (typically 24–72 hours) before it activates.
  • Your limit resets at midnight (platform time) for daily limits, Monday midnight for weekly limits.

Navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Loss Limits. Set a PKR threshold for daily, weekly or monthly losses.

  • Once your loss limit is reached, further bets are declined until the period refreshes.
  • The counter tracks net losses, not total stakes.
  • Like deposit limits, reductions apply immediately; increases require a cooling-off delay.

In Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Session Limits, choose how many minutes or hours a single session should last.

  • You can set a soft reminder (a pop-up asking if you want to continue) or a hard cut-off (automatic logout).
  • Any open bets placed before the cut-off are settled normally.
  • Session limits reset when you log in again, not on a clock schedule.

Self-exclusion can be requested in Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion, or by contacting Live Chat directly if you need it applied urgently.

  • Temporary exclusion: Choose a period from 24 hours to 6 months. Cannot be reversed during the exclusion window.
  • Permanent exclusion: Closes your account permanently. Real-money balances are returned after KYC verification. This cannot be undone.
  • During exclusion, all marketing communications from 1winpk are stopped.
  • Attempts to re-register a new account during exclusion will be detected and blocked.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It often develops gradually. The following patterns are warning signs that your gambling may have moved from entertainment to a problem that needs attention.

Chasing losses. Placing bigger bets to win back money you have already lost, rather than accepting the loss and stopping.

Hiding your gambling. Lying to family or friends about how often you gamble or how much you are spending.

Gambling with money you need. Using funds set aside for rent, food, utility bills or family expenses — including amounts meant for Easypaisa or JazzCash transfers — to fund gambling.

Inability to stop. Repeatedly trying to cut down or stop gambling but finding it impossible to follow through.

Gambling affecting your mood. Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not gambling, and only feeling normal when you are playing.

Neglecting relationships or responsibilities. Missing family events, work, or social commitments in Karachi, Lahore or wherever you are based — because of gambling.

Escalating stakes. Needing to bet increasingly larger amounts to get the same feeling of excitement from gambling.

If you recognise three or more of these signs in yourself or someone close to you, please reach out for support. Using the self-exclusion tool and seeking professional counselling are positive steps — not signs of failure.

What 1winpk Commits To

Responsible gambling is not a tick-box exercise for us. These are the specific operational commitments 1winpk maintains for all users.

Age Verification on Every Account

Every account undergoes age verification as part of the KYC process. We do not process bets from accounts that have not passed age verification, and we actively check for signs of underage access.

No Predatory Marketing to Vulnerable Users

We do not send bonus or promotional communications to users who have set self-exclusion, who are in a cooling-off period, or who have been flagged by our responsible gambling monitoring systems as potentially at-risk.

Gameplay Pattern Monitoring

Our systems monitor for patterns associated with problem gambling — rapid session increases, loss-chasing behaviour, sudden large deposits after a losing run. Where patterns are detected, our team may reach out proactively.

Trained Support Staff

Our customer support team receives training on responsible gambling protocols. Any team member can escalate a concern and apply emergency limits or activate self-exclusion on a user's behalf without delay.

Clear Information, No Pressure

We do not use guilt, urgency tactics or pressure to encourage users to keep gambling. The responsible gambling tools on this page are always one click away, and we actively promote their use in platform communications.

Check In With Yourself

These questions are used by responsible gambling organisations to help people reflect on their gambling behaviour. They are not a clinical diagnosis — they are a starting point for honest self-reflection.

Read each question and consider whether it applies to you over the past 12 months. If you find yourself answering "yes" to several, consider using the tools above or speaking to a counsellor.

1. Have you ever spent more time or money on gambling than you planned?

  • Yes, this has happened more than once
  • Occasionally, but I caught myself
  • No, I always stick to my plan

2. Have you gambled to escape stress, anxiety or problems at home or work?

  • Yes, gambling feels like an escape
  • Sometimes, when things get difficult
  • No, I gamble purely for entertainment

3. Have you argued with family members about your gambling habits?

  • Yes, it has caused tension at home
  • There have been a few concerns raised
  • No, gambling has not affected my relationships

4. Have you tried to win back money you lost by gambling more?

  • Yes, I have chased losses before
  • Once or twice, but I stopped
  • No, I accept wins and losses equally
This self-assessment is for reflection only. If your answers concern you, the most useful next step is to activate a deposit limit or self-exclusion in your account settings, or to contact a professional counselling service.

Where to Get Help in Pakistan

These are text-only references to support services that may be available in Pakistan. Please verify current contact details and availability before use. 1winpk does not operate or endorse these organisations — we list them because getting help is the most important step.

Umang Helpline

A free, confidential mental health and crisis counselling helpline operating in Pakistan. Provides emotional support and guidance for those facing stress, anxiety, depression or crisis situations — including gambling-related distress. Number: 0317-4288665 (verify availability before calling).

Rozan Counselling Helpline

A Islamabad-based psychosocial support organisation with a counselling helpline. They offer mental health and wellbeing support across Pakistan. Contact details should be verified through local directory services, as hours of operation may change.

Talk to Someone You Trust

Sometimes the most effective first step is speaking openly with a family member or close friend — whether you are in Karachi, Lahore or Peshawar. Shared problems are easier to manage. A trusted person can also help you activate account limits or self-exclusion if you find it hard to do alone.

A note on Pakistan-specific resources: Dedicated gambling-specific helplines as exist in some other countries are not widely established in Pakistan at this time. The mental health and crisis counselling services referenced above are legitimate support points for distress related to gambling harm, even if not gambling-specific by name. 1winpk encourages users to seek the most appropriate help available in their location.

Keeping Minors Safe

1winpk strictly prohibits access by anyone under the age of 18 — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's license jurisdiction. We take this obligation seriously and apply multiple layers of protection.

If you share a device with younger family members — whether in a household in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad or anywhere else in Pakistan — you are responsible for ensuring they cannot access your 1winpk account. Here are practical steps you can take:

  • Use a strong, unique password and never share it with anyone under 18.
  • Enable two-factor authentication on your account for an extra login layer.
  • Always log out of your 1winpk account when leaving a shared device.
  • Use device-level parental control software to restrict access to gambling sites on shared family devices or tablets.
  • Do not leave your account open, your banking app accessible or your payment details visible on a shared screen.
If you suspect a minor has accessed the Platform: Contact our support team immediately via Live Chat. We will investigate and close the account. Any balance associated with underage access will not be paid out and the matter will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
The 18+ Rule — No Exceptions

Every new 1winpk account requires date-of-birth confirmation at registration. Before any withdrawal is processed, full KYC identity verification is completed — including age verification against a valid ID document.

Any account found to belong to someone under 18 will be permanently closed. All funds deposited will be refunded to the original payment source after investigation. Bonus winnings generated on an underage account are voided without exception.

We do not advertise or promote the 1winpk Platform through media channels primarily targeted at under-18 audiences. Our marketing is directed strictly at adults.
